Ingredients

1 12oz bag cranberries (3 cups)

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup red wine

1/4 cup orange juice

3/4 cup white sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 cinnamon sticks

1/2 teaspoon cardamom

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

1/2 teaspoon orange zest

Preparation

Add water, wine, orange juice & sugar together in a pot. Heat and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Add cranberries and spices and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the berries pop (10-12min). Stir in zest and cool.

Refrigerate overnight, leaving in the cinnamon sticks.
