Ingredients
2 cups of flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/4 teaspoons salt
water
oil
powdered sugar
Preparation
In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder and slat. Add only enough water to make batter thick. Half fill a 2 quart saucepan with oil which should be very hot. Spoon a tablespoon of the batter into the oil along the top. The batter will rise to the top and form four or five balls. Turn a few times until they are nice and brown. Remove from pan and drain paper towels. Then place in a small paper bag and sprinkle with the powered sugar. Serve warm.
