Ingredients
2 cups of flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
oil
powdered sugar
Preparation
In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add only enough to water to make batter thick. Half fill a 2 quart saucepan with oil which should be very hot. Spoon (tablespoons) batter into the oil along the top. The batter will rise to the top and form four or five balls. Turn a few times until they are nice and browned. Remove from pan and drain and place in brown paper bag and sprinkle with powdered sugar
