Ingredients

heaping c flour

1/4 ts salt

1 c milk

2 eggs

1-2 oz fat (beef, duck, lard, butter or oil)

Preparation

Blend flour, salt and milk. Wisk eggs and blend together until the batter is smooth. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Preheat oven at 450. Heat dish 9 x 13 or muffin tin for 10 minutes. Add fat into dish and heat for 10-15 minutes. Pour batter in dish and bake until golden 20-25 minutes for large dish or 15 minutes for muffin tin.

1 1/2 ribs prime rib 1 1/2 hours. 115 rare. 125 med rare.
