Ingredients
4 tblsp Plain Flour
1 pinch salt
1 egg
Milk
Vegetable oil
Preparation
Preheat oven to 220*C.
In a bowl, add flour, salt, egg and a little milk.
Beat mixture with whisk adding milk until it becomes the texture of pouring cream.
Pour oil into the muffin tray so that each depression is filled about a third full.
Place tray in hot oven until oil is smoking hot.
Gently pour mixture into muffin tin and place in preheated oven at 220C for 5 mins then lower the heat to 170C and cook until risen and golden brown. Do not open the oven door while cooking!
