Ingredients

1 cup yellow daal

3/4 c fresh milk

1/2 tsp garlic

1/2 tsp ginger

2 pinches MSG, salt and pepper

1/2 piece carrot, grated

1 onion, chopped

1 pinch coriander

1 pinch cumin

Preparation

Brown onions and spices over medium-high heat. Add the carrot. Add the milk and daal and boil until done.
