Ingredients

8 Tbsp. butter (1 stick)

2 1/2 c. flour

1/4 - 1/3 c. sugar (depending on how sweet you like your scones)

1 Tbsp. baking power

1 tsp. salt

2/3 c. milk

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400.

Soften butter and mix with all ingredients in a mixer. Mix completely; dough will be dry.

Place balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8-12 min.

Scones are done when the very tips are brown.
