Ingredients
1C butter
1C oil
1C brown sugar
1Cgranulated sugar
1 large egg
1tsp vanilla
31/2 C all purpose flour
1C crushed corn flakes
1C old-fashioned oats
½ C shredded coconut
½ C chopped nuts (pecans are tasty)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
Preparation
- Oven at 325
- Cream butter, oil, sugars, egg and vanilla in mixer.
- Mix remaining ingredients in separate bowl, add to butter mixture spoon by spoon.
- Roll dough into walnut size pieces. Place on un- greased cookie sheets. Flatten to ¼ inch with a glass bottom dipped in water.
- Bake until you like them, 8-12 minutes depending on how brown you prefer. I do 8-9 minutes.
