Ingredients
3 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 1/2 lb ground beef
2 1/2 cups diced tomatoes
1 can (11 oz) can condensed tomato. soup
1/2 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp cayenne
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp chili powder
1 clove garlic (pressed)
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups kidney beans
Preparation
Heat oil in large skillet. Cook onion until colour changes to clear. Transfer to slow cooker or pot. Add green pepper to skillet and cook a few mins. Add pressed garlic with green peppers and saute for 1 additional minute, then transfer to slow cooker. Add all other ingredients to the slow cooker and stir well. Let simmer for 3-4 hours in slow cooker. Serve in bowls, and garnish with cheddar cheese…..
