Ingredients

6 oz. Rib eye(first choice)but eye round or choice round will work.

1/2 small onion

4 oz mushrooms

1 oz oil

5 slices white american, provolone or 3 oz. cheez Whiz

10-in. Italian roll

1 Tbs Butter

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt to tast

Preparation

  1. Partially freeze meat. Then Slice thin(1/8 in or so) I cheat and have the butcher run it throught a slicer

  2. Soften butter and mix in garlic powder then spread over split roll.

  3. In a large skillet, fry onion and in olive oil adding mushrooms about 5 min. in

  4. Push mushrooms and onions aside add meat to pan and chop while cooking, salt to taste.

  5. (if using real cheese) Combine all ingreadents and place cheese on top.

4b. (if using cheez wiz) Spread whiz thickly over both sides of the roll.

  1. Place roll over the top of the combo and let steam for a min or two than scoop the whole thing up in the roll.
