sliced european pears

walnuts

fresh cranberries

dark brown sugar

water

cinnammon

allspice

cloves

Preparation

in a skillet put whole cranberries with a little water just enough to cover the top of the berries. put sugar and a drizzel of honey in water. boil. when boil begins reduce heat to low add in sliced pears. as cranberries pop. mix the juice over pears. add toasted walnuts and spices. goes well on top of vanilla bean ice cream.
