Ingredients
2 envelopes gelatin
2 cups water
1 cup wine (Port)-buy at least a mid priced bottle of Port
1 cup sugar
1 lemon (juice)
whipped cream
sugar, to taste
Preparation
- Soak gelatin in 1 cup cold water.
- Dissolve sugar & soaked gelatin in 1 cup boiling water.
- Add wine & lemon juice.
- Strain into molds, sherbert glasses, or large serving bowl & refrigerate until firm.
- Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
