Ingredients

cup uncooked whole-grain wild rice (not cracked or broken)

cup sliced fresh mushrooms

1

medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

1

medium stalk celery, chopped (about 1/2 cup)

1

medium carrot, chopped (about 1/2 cup)

tablespoons butter or margarine, cut into small pieces

1

container (32 oz) Progresso™ original chicken broth

5

cups herb-seasoned cubed stuffing

Preparation

In 5- to 6-quart slow cooker, mix all ingredients except stuffing.

Cover; cook on Low heat setting 5 hours.

Gently stir stuffing into rice mixture. Cover; cook 45 to 60 minutes longer or until stuffing is moist and tender.

Just before serving, gently stir mixture.
