Ingredients
3/4 cup wild rice
6 slices of bacon, diced
1/2 chopped onion
1/2 cup raw grated carrots
2 egg yolks
1 cup light cream
1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter
Preparation
Cook the wild rice until done. Drain and wash in cold water. Fry the bacon, add the onions and carrots, saute until onions are soft. Strain out and mix with the wild rice. Place in a buttered casserole. Beat the egg yolks, add the cream and seasonings, pour over the mixture. Dot with butter and bake at 300 in a pan of water until set.
