Ingredients
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup toasted, chopped hazelnuts
1Tbsp packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 egg
1/2 cup fat free sour cream
1 Tbsp Canola oil
1 small Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
1/2 T butter
Preparation
Combine the dry ingredients in one bowl, and the wets in a small bowl or measuring cup.
Stir wets into flour mixture until slightly lumpy.
Pour onto hot griddle, aiming for 3" rounds.
Saute sliced apples in butter until nicely browned and soft. Plate and serve.
