Ingredients

Thin Medium Thick

Butter or margarine 2 T. 2 T. 2 T.

flour 1 T. 2 T. 3 T.

salt 1/2 t. 1/2 t. 1/2 t.

milk 1 c. 1 c. 1 c.

Preparation

Melt butter or margarine in sauce pan or double boiler over low heat. Add flavor, salt and stir to make a smooth paste. Cook for 1 minute. Add milk slowly, stir to keep smooth and cook over low heat until thickened.
