Ingredients
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 cup milk
1/3 cup half and half
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
salt and pepper
Preparation
Melt butter in small pan. Stir in flour and simmer over low heat for about 3-5 minutes, whisking constantly. Add the milk and cream slowly while whisking, then whisk until sauce thickens. Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
