Ingredients

3 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

pinch of salt

1 cup (2 sticks) butter at

room temperature

1-1/2 cups sugar

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs, at room temperature

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla

1/2 teaspoon almond extract

1/2 teaspoon Amaretto

2 cups white chocolate chips

1-1/2 cups Macadamia nuts,

roughly chopped

Preparation

Sift the dry ingredients together. Cream the butter and sugars together in a separate bowl until light and fluffy; add eggs one at a time, blending well.

Mix in the vanilla and almond extarcts,followed by Amaretto. Stir the dry ingredients in with a gentle touch.

With a wooden spoon, mix in the white chocolate chips and nuts. Scoop onto prepared baking sheets, placing dough 2 inches apart. Bake cookies for 8 to10 minutes or until they are golden brown. Try to hold back the masses as the cookies cool and have plenty of milk on hand.
