Ingredients

Oil

Plain flour

Milk

Cheese

Salt and pepper

Preparation

Heat 1 tablespoon oil and a little butter for flavor in a pan

Add 2 tablespoons of plain flour and stir out any lumps;

Cook for 2-3 mins on slow heat;

Add 1 litre of cold milk (when adding milk keep stirring otherwise there will be lumps)

Keep stirring until it comes to a boil (can increase heat a bit)

Once it is thick and creamy add salt and pepper and its ready!

For cheese sauce add 1 cup cheddar cheese and stir in until smooth.

NEVER add cheese before the milk has boiled!!
