Ingredients

1 cup Italian parsley

2 cloves garlic

1/2 lemon, squeezed

1/2 cup olive oil, plus 1 tsp. for sauteing

1 small onion, chopped

Pinch of cayenne pepper

1 sm. can of white navy beans, rinsed

Preparation

Pulse in food processor parsley, 1 clove of garlic and lemon juice, until mixed.

Add olive oil and pulse again. Reserve mixture.

Saute in 1 tsp. olive oil, chopped onion, cayenne and chopped remaining clove of garlic. Add one can of small white navy beans. Pour parsley mixture in and stir. Simmer for 5 minutes and serve warm with crackers.
