Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour milk (3/4 cup milk + 1/4 cup vinegar)
2 cups flour
2 teas baking soda
2 teas salt
1 teas vanilla
8 Tbsp baking cocoa
1 cup boiling water
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and sour milk. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add flour mixture to butter mixture. Add vanilla. Stir in baking cocoa. Then add boiling water. Gently stir. Pour inot a 9"x13" cake pan, or 2 8" layer pans. Bake at 350 for approximately 35 minutes. Cool and frost with Buttercream Frosting.
