Ingredients

⅔ cup butter

1 ½ cups sugar

2 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

¼ cup evaporated milk

3 ⅔ cups flour

2 ½ tsp baking powder

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together well. Add eggs and beat well. Add vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to creamed butter and sugar alternately with 1/4 cup of evaporated milk. Add an additional teaspoon or so if dough is difficult to roll out. Roll 1/8 inch thick and cut into shapes desired. But on greased cookie sheet and bake for 375 for 6 minutes. Frost with confestioners sugar frosting after cookies have cooled.
