Ingredients

2 ripe pears

¼ lb prosciutto

1/3 lb manchego cheese

Preparation

  1. Core and slice the pears to about ½ inch thick wedges.
  2. Slice the cheese so it will fit on top of the pears. Cut the prosciutto into thirds lengthwise.
  3. Lay a slice of cheese on each pear wedge. Wrap with a strip of prosciutto.
  4. cook in a toaster oven at 425 for about 7 minutes, or until the cheese has softened and the prosciutto has crisped.
