Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon flour

1/2 cup onion chopped

1 cup white mushroom, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons lemon juice or 1/4 cup white wine

1 1/2 cups milk or half and half

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1/4 cup shelled walnuts

Salt, pepper to taste

1 tablespoon each dried tarragon and dried oregano

Olive oil

Preparation

saute onions, mushrooms, and garlic in butter until tender. Sprinkle with flour and cook for two minutes. Whisk in lemon juice, mustard and milk and cook until thickened.
