Ingredients
6 yolks
6 whites
6 tablespoons sugar
9 tablespoons walnuts 3 tablespoons plain breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
whip the yolks,sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients except the whites. whip. Now whip the whites until form peaks. mix whites with the yolk mixture slowly.Pour mixture into a buttered and floured 8" spingfold pan. Bake 350 1/2 hour Place cake on cooling rack. once cake is cool, cut in half horizontally and spread 1/2 the frosting and whipping cream in the middle. Place the top layer on the creams and decorate with rest of the frosting. serve the remaying whipping cream on the side.
