Ingredients
2 hearts of romaine lettuce chopped
1/2 cup julienne Jicama
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/8 cup chopped fresh mint
1/8 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/8 cup chopped fresh basil
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh chives
2 Fresh Tuna Steaks
2 Tablespoons Sesame seeds
2 Tablespoons Soy sauce
1.5 Tablespoons sesame seed oil
4 Tablespoons store bought Thai peanut sauce
salt to taste
Preparation
Toss first 8 ingredients in a large bowl and set aside in refrigerator. Coat tuna with soy sauce and sesame seeds. Heat sesame seed oil in saute pan. Cook Tuna on each side for 15-30 seconds. Slice Tuna into 1 inch Strips. Divide salad onto 4 plates top with tuna and drizzle with peanut sauce. Salt to taste (salt may not be needed at all)
