Ingredients
4 or 5 Medium Visalia onions thinly sliced.
1 stick of sweet butter
1 sleeve of your favorite cracker, crushed,(I prefer Waverly, if available)
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 ounce evaporated milk
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Preparation
Saute onions in 1 stick of butter with salt and pepper, to taste, until clear and set aside.
Mix together: crushed crackers, soy sauce, soup, and milk.
Fold together onions and cracker mixture and place in a 9 X 11 casserole dish. Spread top with cheese and bake in 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
