Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 large ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 cup sour cream
Pinch of salt
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
Brown sugar
Preparation
Cream shortening and sugar; add beaten eggs and mashed bananas. Stir in sour cream. Sift flour and baking soda together and add to the mixture.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5 loaf pan. Sprinkle brown sugar on top. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 hour or until done.
