Ingredients
Hummus 3/4 cup or 200g
soft fresh breadcrumbs 1 cup (sourdough)
tahini paste 2T
ground cumin 1/2t
spring onion (3) - white part only
small red chilli
1 garlic clove
2T chopped coriander
lemon or lime juice 1T
2 cans 400g chick peas
olive oil to fry
1T sesame seeds
1-2T dried breadcrumbs
1 cup greek yoghurt
1.5T extra virgin oil
finely chopped coriander
toastd pita bread to serve
Preparation
Process Hummus soft fresh breadcrumbs 1 cup (sourdough) tahini paste ground cumin spring onion small red chilli garlic clove chopped coriander lemon or lime juice 1 can 400g chick peas 1t salt
Transfer to bowel, and hand mix in remaining chick peas
Shape into 8 patties and lightly coat with sesame seeds and dried breadcrumbs
Shallow fry in olive oil
