Ingredients
5-6 cups vegetable stock
2 leeks chopped coarsely
one large vidalia onion
one bag of brown rice spirals
chopped carrots
1-2 cans of white beans
chopped potatos
1/4 c. of white wine
1 tsp crushed sage
1 tsp thyme
2 tsp minced garlic
1 bay leaf
1/4 c. of lentils
Preparation
place carrots, lentils, and potatos in broth. boil for 25 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Boil for 15-20 more minutes or until lentils and carrots are soft.
Serve with a crusty bread. I suggest ciabatta or crusty italian bread.
