Ingredients

good quality grilling steaks (not too thick)

sliced button mushrooms or a mix of mushroom types

chopped shallots

couple of tablespoons worth of balsamic vinegar

soft portugeuse rolls

mixed greens

grainy country style dijon mustard

herbed or pepper goat’s cheese

olive oil

one clove garlic

salt and pepper

Preparation

season steaks with s&p and grill to taste

slice rolls in half brush with olive oil and toast once toasted rub toasted sides with garlic clove spread bottom roll half with grainy dijon mustard

saute mushrooms in olive oil with shallots add balsamic vinegar to mushrooms/shallots crumble in goat’s cheese stir until cheese is melted

place grilled steak on lettuce (bottom roll half) top with warm mushroom and cheese mixture top with mixed greens and top roll
